02our story

Started in a kitchen.
Still small on purpose.

Bumblebee began in 2018 when our founder, Mara, couldn't find a baby onesie soft enough for her newborn that wasn't covered in cartoon brand mascots. So she made one. Then six. Then an Etsy shop. Then this.

We're still small. Every print is screened by hand in our Portland studio. Every order is packed by a person, not a robot. Every garment is built to make it through a sibling.
